Dear all, Further to the below, a memorial service for John will be held at St Lawrence Jewry, Guildhall Yard, London EC2V 5AA on Friday 12th May at 2.30 pm. There will be refreshments after the service at Girdlers’ Hall, Basinghall Avenue, London EC2V 5DD.

It is with great regret that we have to tell you that John Adler MBE died on the 18th March in the presence of his family.

John joined the club in the 1950's and has been an active member for over 60 years being recognised for his services by being made a Life Member.

He will be sorely missed by Brentwood RFC, Essex Rugby and the many good causes that he unwaveringly supported.

Funeral details will be advised once known, Past President Bob Thomas will be saying a few words on his friend of over 60 years at the President's Lunch this weekend.

There will also be a minute of remembrance before kick off.

Our thoughts are with John's family and friends.
