I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the first team and the club on what appears to have been a fantastic year. With the first team finishing in the top half of the table and with league and cup champions scattered throughout age groups up and down the club.

It is however I let you know that through great sadness that I will not be playing at the club next season or in the seasons to come. This is due to a multitude of reasons.

I have been at the club 10 years all in all and enjoyed every single season, even if I haven't looked it George. I have played with some great players and some not so great players but have to be honest and say I believe that the current squad is capable of being the best.

I would like to thank all the coaches I have been coached by Micky Brindle, Andy Cappart, Fred Lewis, Jonny Cash, Alex Gibson and yes even Elliott Shaw. But a special thank you to Steve who has continued to support me and pick me probably on some occasions when he shouldn't have done. Steve has done a fantastic job with the first team and I think this has reaped benefits now he has a committee that back him.

I consider all of you friends and will attempt to get back to watch the club as often as possible.
