Dear all, construction of our new training pitch continues, with the latest work undertaken being the installation of secondary drainage, or sand grooves.

There is still much work to be done before the pitch is formally handed back to the club in late August, in time for next season.

The perimeter fence, currently down for construction works, will be back in place soon. Occasionally over the next few months it will come down again to allow the contractors unfettered access to the surface.

Please do refrain from going on the pitch, even when the fence is down, and kindly discourage others from doing so.

This will allow the new surface the maximum time to settle and establish itself, and therefore serve us well for many years - and winters - to come.
