Brentwood RFC U15s took 25 Boys to play in an international festival hosted by Arras RC in northern france over the May Bank Holiday weekend.
12 teams competed in 2 groups over the Saturday and Sunday before progressing to the Semi Final stages of various competitions.

Brentwood were in impressive form throughout the group stages winning all their pool matches and also not conceding any points:

vs Bromsgrove RFC W 30-0
vs Mumbles RFC W 10-0
vs Sidcup RFC W 25-0
vs London Scottish RFC W 20-0
vs RC Arras W 20-0

What was most pleasing was that in each game 10 substitions were made at half time with all the boys playing in each game and demonstrating the strong squad spirit and strength in depth we are lucky enough to possess.

The boys faced a very strong Ealing Trailfinders team in the cup semi final and following a strong start a few unforced errors put us firmly on the back foot. Kicking away too much ball to an electric back 3 meant we were constantly under pressure and eventual tournament winners Ealing went onto to record a 25-5 victory. Whilst a dissapointing finish to the campaign, one poor game shouldn't cloud what was a fantastic tour for boys and parents alike.
