Good performance u11s

On Sunday 16/10/16 the U11s went to Romford which is always a friendly occasion.

Again we revived a warm welcome from Romford and we agreed to play a 10 a side so we could get as many players as much game time as possible.

Brentwood came out very quickly with some very good passing which left Alex Freeman with a one on one to go around his man and score our first try. Then Johnny Lucas, Conor and Ashton chipped in and tries came from all over the field.
Again Tom Kicked really well and was a menace in the scrum wining the ball with his hooking Owen, Tabani, Dan S, Dan W all had really good games and so did our new lad Ethan.It was really good to see the return of Zak and Charlie who had good games.

I have to mention Christiaan who looked much more confident at scrum half and Metin who has to get pass of the game for dragging his man and off loading to Johnny to score again.

If i'm honest we might have played Romford on an off day because we went there two weeks ago as they kindly invited us for a friendly.
They are a much improved side and only lost to us 1-2 and 0-1. This week we managed to put a few more past them and won all 3 games only conceding in the last game.

Tony and I were happy with the win but far to much ball was given away to cheaply and there was a bit to much watching the rucks. Tony and I told the lads this after the games but overall well done all

Many thanks to Romford for a very warm welcome we look forward to welcoming them to ours this season where we know we will need to be on our game. Plenty to work on
