U11s impressive at Maldon

(Today's Captain )

Team was Jack Harry Zak ,Mason Ash Conor ,Christiaan ,Ryan,Alastair,Tomand Alfie.

When we arrived it was cold and frosty, on the first match we won 5-1 .In the match there were great runs made by Ash ,Harry ,Conor and Mason who all broke through their line ,there were also good tackles made by Ryan ,Zak ,Alastair,Christian,Tom,Alfie and Jack. We used the line well ( but not enough) and dominated play .
The second game we were on fire and won 9-0 with a stronger team performance and made excellent runs with all of us trying hard . Great run by Alastair who made good ground but was tackled and got injured ( hope he's ok ) Ryan also got injured hope he's ok too .

The tries in the game saw a pass from Jack - Tom - Conor who then scored. Then it began, Conor scored another 2 , 3 from Mason using his speed , Jack , Zak and Tom each scored 1 . Great team effort, everybody trying hard.
Maldon really tested our defence towards the end trying to score a try but we managed to defend our try line and turn the ball over to end the game with a clean sheet.

Still points to work on getting in the rucks , using the line more getting those tackles in
