Saracens Alan Day VW Cup

BRFC found themselves in a very good group with strong competition.
Our first game against Hamstead and our first win got everyone in the mood for the day.
We then went on to a convincing win against Letchworth. Some stand out play from Ted who defended our try line one second, then took the ball to the other end for a try. The play of the day came from Thomas who timed it just right to get a cracking interception and go on for a try.
We were unlucky not to win our third game against Saracens Amateurs.
Next saw us play a very good Rosslyn Park, which finished with our second defeat of the day.
Last was a very good spirited game against Galleywood Gargoyles that we just piped.
It was a great day and a great experience for the boys playing on the pitch at Alianze Park.
We finished third in our group and are through to the Champions Event on Saturday 22 March.
