Having just formed a new Colts Team, our
first run out of the new season was against Cheshunt at another fantastic new facility on a new 4G pitch. Thanks to them for hosting us.
Initially, the Summer cobwebs were showing a bit, and it looked like both teams were quite evenly matched, playing 17's and 18's of mixed ability with rolling subs. However, once the Lads got into their stride and the handling improved, we were away, and Cheshunt really were unable to find any response to us continually going over the line.Our points tally could have increased, had it not been for a lack of conversions.
It was good to see the new U17's integrate into the team really well and do their bit towards this win. Quite impressive, and the shape of things to come we are sure for the success of the squad.
