On Saturday the club held its Ladies Lunch in aid of Breast Cancer Awareness and I wanted to thank everyone for turning up, dressing in pink and supporting the club as well as the charity.

We had 101 diners which could be close to a record for a club lunch and although it was a bit of a tight squeeze the feedback I have had was that everyone enjoyed themselves - the free Prosecco was flowing and the food was excellent and it gave many old friends the time to meet up again and reminisce about the "Good Old Days"

Most importantly though we raised £1,010.63 for Breast Cancer Awareness which was a great effort by all with everyone donating generously.

Many thanks to everyone who donated raffle prizes, we had Wine, Champagne, Chocolates Candles, Bottles of Spirits and even two freshly shot Pheasants (thanks Terry), special thanks goes to Tim Pembroke who went above and beyond with an awesome hamper filled with wine, port, cheese and biscuits.

I must also thank Vikki Killington for all her help as well as Donna, Billie and all their bar staff and servers.

We now move on to the Christmas lunch on the 9th December which is almost full so please call me on 07814 020559 if you would like one of the last two tables.
