International honours for young Brentwood RFC old boy

The club was delighted to hear of the first Scotland Under 18 cap for former Brentwood RFC player Angus Wright.

Inculcated in the game from an early age by his dad John - himself a club stalwart and former 1st XV player - Angus played for Brentwood from U6 (starting age 4) to U10's before moving to Scotland with John, his mum Nicola, and sister Freya.

Angus made his debut off the bench on Sunday with the hosts Wales running out 43-10 winners.

We congratulate Angus on his well-deserved first Scotland U18 cap and wish him well in his fledgling international career.
