As the festive season kicks into overdrive the 1st XV will look for their own festive cheer and bounce back from two defeats as they take on Norwich RFC at King George's - KO 2pm. The 2nd XV are away to Wanstead as they look to continue their fantastic current form of 3 wins on the bounce - again KO 2pm.

The clubhouse will be busy with a full house of Christmas Lunchers all looking to win the coveted "Best in Class" Christmas Jumper competition so make sure you turn up early and enjoy a glass of Mulled Wine with a Mince Pie.

11.15 am - Clubhouse opens
11.30 am - Lunch Meet
12 Noon - Lunch sit down
12.30 pm - Mulled Wine and mince pies served
2pm - 1st XV KO

Last weeks defeat at Woodford is most probably best forgotten and I'll let you all read about that in Becky's always excellent match report but the boys will know that they will need to perform much better this week as they look to regain the chase for top spot. Hopefully there will be some boys back from injury to aid this along with some loud and boisterous home support so please make the effort and get down and cheer them on.

The 2nd XV are seeing some fruits of the coaching teams labours with three wins on the bounce with the last one coming away at Thurrock 44-17 and will hope to continue this at Wanstead.
