The coaches of the U10's were delighted with the effort shown today by the squad that travelled to Southend.
This highly competitive festival really pushed the players to their limits and a great display saw the squad play 5 games, winning 3, drawing 1 and loosing 1. Scoring 11 tries and conceding just 3 in the process.
After finishing 3rd in the pool behind Old Elthamians and Southend the team went on to face Braintree in the Bowl Final winning the game 20 - 0.
The pool results, holding Old Elthamians to a 0 - 0 draw and narrowly loosing to Southend 10 - 5, showed how small the margins were, both teams finishing first and second respectively in the pool.
Head Coach, Jerry Shouksmith said in a post match press conference " Today the boys showed some real talent, worked really hard and we can take some real positives form the day"
