Bob Brazier Obituary & Funeral Details

Robert Michael Brazier 30 January 1947 – 9 May 2026

Some of you may already have heard that sadly Bob Brazier died early on Saturday 9 May.
Bob was born in Farnborough Kent, for his first 10 years he lived in London on the Isle of Dogs. His family then returned to Kent where he lived in Maidstone before coming to Essex in 1975.

He had a long career at Lloyds Bank in senior client-facing roles within business and commercial banking. He worked for Lloyds in branches and at regional level around London and the South East.

He was associated with Lloyds Bank’s rugby club for many years where he played on the wing and at scrum half.

Bob brought his son Mark along to the minis at Brentwood in 1982. From then on Bob coached age grade teams for many years. Up until recently he was the Club’s International Ticket Secretary, a role for which he was highly respected by Club Members. Bob always gave of his best in the roles he took on for the Club.

Despite his long fight against his illness Bob attended Club fixtures regularly and as many Club Lunches as he could. He was also known to attend lunches at Campion Rugby Club.
He will be missed by Angela, Mark and Alison and all his family and friends.

Brentwood
